Boat station at Moscow Izmailovsky park’s Round Pond design concept.
Initial task to design a pier with a cabin and a mooring space for 50 rental boats eventually evolved into architectural and landscaping project aiming to transform a whole waterfront area into lively recreational public space.

Long and slim walking gallery with a slightly curved plan follows the pond’s shoreline. Under the canopy a boat rental cabin, snack&beverages kiosk, café, seasonal sport’s equipment rental pavillion, and a toilettes are distributed. In open spaces in between, a spacious lounges sheltered from sun and rain provide a place for relaxation and enjoying the view over the waters.
